{"id":5275,"date":"2022-03-23T18:34:23","date_gmt":"2022-03-23T18:34:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mediaofthings.co.uk\/?p=5275"},"modified":"2022-03-23T18:34:23","modified_gmt":"2022-03-23T18:34:23","slug":"dogs-and-guns-seized-in-chingford","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mediaofthings.co.uk\/index.php\/2022\/03\/23\/dogs-and-guns-seized-in-chingford\/","title":{"rendered":"Dogs and guns seized in Chingford"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A CAREFULLY co-ordinated raid on premises in Sewardstone Road, Chingford, last month saw dogs and puppies being seized \u2013 together with a firearm, combat knives and stolen plant machinery.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The operation, which was carried out to execute a search warrant, involved the Metropolitan Police Territorial Support Group (TSG), the Status Dogs Unit, the RSCA and further, unnamed, partners.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The dogs were taken to kennels so that they could be assessed to see whether they were prohibited breeds.\u00a0 Three men \u2013 aged 28, 30 and 35 \u2013 were arrested at the cite on suspicion of dangerous dog offences, handling stolen good, possession of a firearm and offensive weapons in a private place. The three were released while police continue their investigations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">PC Tom Landels of the Metropolitan Police North East\u00a0Command called the seizures \u201csignificant\u201d and said, \u201cThe plant machinery will be returned to the lawful owners and the dogs will undergo assessment while they are cared for at a police kennel facility.
