Whatever you want to call it, there\u2019s an hour\u2019s yoga on offer from 6pm every Thursday, starting on 17th June. The sessions will be led by Sally Ramsden, a \u201cYoga Campus trained teacher specialising in mindful yoga and nature connection for wellbeing and for stress relief\u201d.<br \/>\nThe sessions cost \u00a310.\u00a0 If that level of outlay stresses you out too much to do outdoors yoga, you can always view Sandi Brock\u2019s \u201cHow I Lamb Yoga (A Mother\u2019s Day Wish)\u201d suggestions here:<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=o6V27Og1HJs\">Sandi Brock \u2013 Lamb Yoga<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Cow Parsley<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span>The cow parsley is out all over the Park at the moment. Why not drop in for a walk round and see this common English plant in all its glory?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>London Marathon<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span>This year\u2019s London Marathon will be run on 3rd October. Andrew regularly enjoys the Park, which he sees as a \u201creally special place for me to exercise and unwind.\u201d Now he is running the Marathon to raise money for his favourite bit of open space in East London.\u00a0 Find out how to support his fundraising effort on the Friends\u2019 website.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Forest Bathing<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span>The Japanese know how to enjoy a wooded area, and forest bathing has borrowed from their practice of <em>Shinrin-yoku<\/em> to develop this slow, sensory woodland walk, with sensory exercises and an emphasis on mindfulness which help you connect with nature and disconnect from the stresses of everyday life. The sessions take place on various dates from 6th June. They are for over-18s only and are free \u2013 but you will need to book a ticket.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Cemetery Investigators<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span>This special session takes place on Friday, 11th June, from 12.30pm to 3.30pm and is suitable for those aged 11 upwards.\u00a0 It will be led by Claire, the Park\u2019s Heritage Officer, and participants will join her in investigating the \u201cstories of the East End\u201d as told by the headstones.\u00a0 The cost is \u00a315: if you are interested, go to the Park\u2019s website and book early to avoid disappointment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>The Women of Tower Hamlets Cemetery<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span>This special session takes place on Friday, 11th June, from 7-8.15pm. It\u2019s a virtual session which will be held on Zoom.\u00a0 The session will be led by public and cemetery historian Sheldon K. Goodman, who has been researching the women buried in the Park and the lives they led before coming to rest in the Cemetery.
