The incident took place nearly six months ago \u2013 but police have now released a CCTV image of a suspect.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_24649\" style=\"width: 210px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eastlondonnews.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/cwharf-1.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24649\" class=\"wp-image-24649 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eastlondonnews.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/cwharf-1.jpg?resize=200%2C305&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"305\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-24649\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>The suspect<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The incident took place at around 5.15pm on 31st May, on Lovegrove Walk, E14 \u2013 a small road which runs along the south of Blackwall Basin, connecting Canary Wharf with Prestons Road.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A man described as white and between 20 and 30 years old exposed himself to a 13 year old girl.\u00a0 He did not speak to her or try to make any physical contact with her. The girl told her mother about the incident and the police were then called.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Police are keen to identify and find the suspect and bring him to justice \u2013 to make him account for his crime, but also to stop him repeating his offence or committing an even worse one.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">PC Daniel Olney, who is part of the police investigation, said,\u00a0\u201cI am keen to identify the man in the image as part of our ongoing investigation. This was understandably an upsetting incident for the young girl and her family. We are keen to identify the person responsible as soon as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u25cf<\/strong><\/span>Anyone who has any information which may assist police is asked to contact them via 101 and quote reference CAD 6066\/31May.
